SPECIAL little friends!

Seven years ago we sold our house in Hudson. Through that we meet a wonderful family that have been special friends ever since. They only had one precious little girl named Grace at that time. Now there are three, Grace, Ella and Samuel. Saturday I got to take the two girls to the zoo here in Bloomington. We had a WONDERFULLY fun day.

Sunday Afternoon Picnic!

It was such a beautiful day today that we decided to take a picnic to the park and enjoy lunch there. It was fun and the dogs especially enjoyed the outing. Fall is here!

Married to Dr. Corn!

You never know where you will find CORN when you live with a "Corn Dr.". I wanted to do some card making, when I went to my supplies, look what I found. Recently I found a paper bag in the frig with corn stalks in it. Go figure.

Gary LABORING on Labor Day!

Today was Labor Day. We always told our kids that it was a day to WORK. They believed it for many years and we got a lot of projects done over the years. Wanted to share this picture of Gary "laboring" today with his two best friends.

WORLD'S BEST baby!

Today I am caring for a friends baby, Andrik..... They have taken their daughter to look at a college. I am amazed at how wonderfully perfect he is. He is such a calm and sweet little boy and has not cried once. Takes his naps right on schedule, on the floor, with pacifier and about 30 seconds patting on his bottom. I am ENJOYING every minute.

50 Years Ago!

When I was a VERY little girl my parents took me to a restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky, the "KINGFISH". We only went there one time and yet we talked about it for many years. Sunday as we were traveling back from South Carolina we decided to check "Garman" to see if they were still in business. There were FOUR! We stepped back in time and had a wonderful lunch over-looking the Ohio river. It was a beautiful day!

RELAXING!

Gary and I found a wonderful place to relax. Hot Springs, North Carolina has a natural hot springs. There are wonderful outdoor hot tubs with natural hot springs water. We enjoyed an hour by the river in complete silence. It was wonderful! Followed by a MARVELOUS lunch at Grove Park Inn! Perfect day!

Marlee Turns ONE!

Time really does fly by so quickly. Hard to believe that our little Marlee is already a year old and walking and jabbering. She is a real CUTIE! We all enjoyed her first birthday and Papa and I were very happy to be able to be there to celebrate.

Greenville Children's Museum

FINALLY the Children's Museum in Greenville was finished. We have waited a very long time to see it open. But it was worth the wait. All the grandkids LOVED it and it really was TOP NOTCH!
