BABYSITTING!

One of the fun things I got to do when Marlee came home from the hospital was spend time with Anna Kate and Lauren so mommy and Marlee could rest. Anna Kate told me often, "Mommy doesn't need to rest, she rested in the hospital." We would try to think of fun things to do each day.

Anna Kate's Prayers were Answered!

Last fall when we moved to Greenville for the winter, Anna Kate would OFTEN tell me that she and mommy were praying for a baby. I didn't take her to serious and reminded her that babies were so much work and that they cry A LOT! She said she didn't care and that she would help mommy. We were SURPRISED when Bek and Shane announced that they WERE expecting. Anna Kate then shared with her mommy that she was praying for a sister........Anna Kate's prayers were answered. I am so thankful we have a Big God that listen to little peoples prayers.

Time with FAMILY!

While in Greenville for the birth of our precious little 5th grandbaby Marlee, we also had time with our other kids and grandkids. One day Sara and I picked "TONS" of blueberries at our house. One Saturday Tim, Sara and I took a day trip to Hendersonvile. N.Carolina. That was a very fun day. Time with Rich, Joy, Brooklynn and Blake is always so much fun.

N I C Unit!

The day after Marlee was born she had to go to the NIC unit. She had a hole in her lung and pneumonia. It was so hard to see her go through so much, but God was so faithful to watch over and heal Marlee. I know He had a purpose in it all. We are so thankful that she is doing so well.

SISTERS!

Anna Kate and Lauren are more than THRILLED to have a little sister. They truly can't get enough of her..... I will always remember the first time they met her, only minutes after she was born... SISTERS really are special!

Meet Marlee!

August 28th Becky called saying her doctor had real concerns with their baby's heartbeat and that they were putting her in the hospital. Gary and I threw some clothes in the car along with the dogs and headed to Greenville. We arrived at the hospital at midnight and Marlee was born at 9 o'clock the next morning. God worked so clearly through-out her delivery. Marlee had a tight knot in her umbilical cord and that was causing her heart rate problems. We were all so thankful when she was delivered.
