Blake was SICK on Easter!

Poor little Blake was not feeling well after his recent vaccinations. He was all "spotted" for Easter and just not himself. He still was so sweet.

HAPPY EASTER!

Yesterday was such a SPECIAL day. Church was wonderful as we could just feel the excitement about the Resurrection of Christ. Everyone except Micah (in Illinois) came for Easter Dinner at our house. Still hard to believe that we are living in South Carolina at least part of the year. The girls especially had a fun time. They really enjoyed the egg hunt after lunch. I had filled their eggs with plastic bugs and snakes. We all enjoyed our day together.

Blake's 1st Birthday Party!

Yesterday was Blake's 1st birthday party. What fun it was! He really did not get into eating his birthday cake. Didn't really enjoy opening his gifts either, although his sister and two cousins did. He's such a sweet and good little boy!

Birthday Breakfast!

Since living near grandkids here in South Carolina we have started the tradition of taking the grandkids out to breakfast for their birthday. We picked up Blake for his special day and headed to IHOP for pancakes. Also invited Brooklynn. We hadn't driven far till be noticed Blake had already pulled his socks off. He and Brooklynn both enjoyed their breakfast and we enjoyed taking them. They were so good. Watch for more pictures of Blake's party.

HAPPY 1 st BIRTHDAY BLAKE!

Blake turned 1 TODAY! Hard to believe the first year has gone so quickly. I had flown to Greenville to visit family last year, not expecting him to be born for several weeks, and he came early. He is the sweetest and best little boy. Tomorrow is his BIRTHDAY PARTY! Just wanted to take a picture on his REAL birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE!
