Just happened that ALL three of our granddaughters were at our house on Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect time to have tea.... They really enjoy "Tea at Mimi's". Wanted to share some of the shots I took of them. They are so sweet. Hope they ALWAYS like to have tea with Mimi.
Part of Gary's birthday surprise was that the kids had gotten him tickets to a "Greenville Drive" baseball game. They also got him an official cap and jersey. We all went as a family and it was a lot of FUN! Gary really enjoyed the evening.
This week-end we flew to Greenville to spend the Memorial Day holiday and Gary's birthday with our families there. It was so much fun to SURPRISE Gary with a sign and everyone there at the airport to greet him.... Watch for more post about our celebration.
Wanted to share a few more shots that we took in Pella. What a beautiful place, especially if you love tulips like I do. Don't ask any questions about the "Dutch Guy". You really do get the feel of the Dutch.
This week I got to travel with dear friends to Pella, Iowa. It was "Tulip Time". I have never seen so many beautiful tulips. Pella is a Dutch community and really takes pride in the Dutch heritage. I will post more pictures soon.
FINALLY spring has come to Illinois. Last week it snowed a bit. I had to take a couple of shots in our back yard of the tulips and other spring flowers. We all look so forward to signs of spring.
