Lauren and Lizzie!

Lauren was over the other day and I found her and Lizzie resting on our bed... They were so cute and Lauren loves her so.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Joy!

It is always special to enjoy "girl time" with Joy. I missed her birthday as we were in Florida. This Saturday we got to try a new restaurant downtown, Pomegranate's. It was very good and the time we shared was so sweet. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY JOY!

The Blue Ridge Mountains!

Even in the winter the mountains have a beauty to them. This morning as I was driving out the driveway, or some call it a lane, I couldn't help but enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Fall is my favorite time though.

FLORIDA!

I had the opportunity to travel with Gary to the very southern tip of Florida. He has research corn plots there. The weather was really perfect with sunshine each day and 80 degrees. I can see why people go south for the winter.

Brooklynn at Play-Doh time!

Brooklynn had so much fun today making amazing "cookies" after mixing all the Play-Doh colors together. What FUN!

Our ONE and ONLY Grandson!

Today Blake and Brooklynn came to visit. We had a wonderful morning. Blake especially enjoyed feeding his snack to Cinnamon. It was so fun watching them interact. Cinnamon was so gentle and sweet. Blake was so generous with his snack. He also enjoyed our Play-Doh time.

A WARM Christmas Day!

Our family celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve, but ended up all being together again Christmas Day. It was a BEAUTIFUL WARM day and we enjoyed the deck, playing outside and a bonfire that evening. Didn't miss the snow AT ALL!
