Blake and Brooklynn today!

Today instead of having just Blake, Brooklynn came to Mimi's house too. We had a fun day together. When Blake went down for his nap Brooklynn and I had a "tea party". She so enjoyed it, especially the cookies.... I had gotten her a new doll and she came to the "tea party" too. Her name is Lucy! We also went for an adventure walk. We have trees near our apartment and Brooklynn calls it the forest. Blake had to interrupt Papa just a bit during his work day.

FUN with Lauren!

Each Wednesday Lauren comes to spend the day. We always have so much fun. Today we started back to "Story Hour" at the library. We both enjoy that. We then headed to the mall here in Greenville. They have a wonderful indoor play area. Lauren always enjoys that. We pick up Anna Kate from pre-school and enjoy the afternoon with her. Today she and Papa spent minutes together watching the beginning of her favorite movie.

TIME FOR LEGO'S

Blake really enjoyed playing with the Lego table and Lego's today. He seems to grow from Tuesday to Tuesday.... He is getting to be such a big boy. He will be walking soon. Papa even took a break and had a little "lego time" with Blake.

Anyone care for a SWIM?

It is 1 pm and the snow is still here. I knew they were lying when they said it would be gone by noon. It is pretty though. The "southerns" are enjoying it very much. Guess they don't get it that often.

SNOW in South Carolina!

This morning I woke up to SNOW in South Carolina. I thought I had left all of this behind in Illinois. They say it will be gone by noon... We'll see. Everyone gets so EXCITED when they see snow down here. Everything closes and no on goes anywhere... I'll check at noon to see if it's still here.

Play time with Blake!

Tuesday is always a fun day with Blake. Today he was so interested in his toys. He is growing up and soon will be 1 year old. He is such a sweet little boy.

A Day with Tim and Carl Sandburg!

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day in South Carolina. Tim and I decided to take a road trip to visit Carl Sandburg's home in Flat Rock, North Carolina. It was a really neat trip. We both enjoyed the tour and the beauty of the area.

One afternoon when Brooklynn and I were out she talked me into a chocolate chip cookie at Target.... Usually Brooklynnn does not pose for the camera. I guess chocolate changes people. She posed for this shot. Looks like she is REALLY enjoying that cookie!
