Gram and Her Friend!

Made a trip to Indiana to visit Gram for a doctor's appointment. We enjoyed catching up and two meals together. She has a close friend Virginia, who will be leaving Thornton Terrace soon to go home. Mom will miss her! Gram really looks forward to mail and visits. She seems settled in her apartment and has been meeting new friends. Sara had met me there on her way back to Illinois. She was a huge help with the doctor's appointment. Juanita and Logan also visited while I was there.

TEA TIME!

Today I had a "Tea Party" for a special friend from Ft. Myers. It was a BEAUTIFUL spring morning here in Illinois. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. We enjoyed putting on our hats and gloves and sharing tea. Wish we could "step back in time" more often.

MICAH MULCHING!

We were so glad to have Micah stop by this evening and help dad finish a small flower garden we had started. We dug up several starts from Gram's flower beds and made a "Gram Garden". Hope it grows and does as well as hers always did. THANKS again Micah!

Sara's Graduation Party!

What FUN we all had! Many special friends and family shared in the celebration.

MORE GRADUATION PICTURES!

Couldn't forget these.....

SARA GRADUATES! (Cum laude)

We are so PROUD of Sara and were excited to be at her graduation on Thursday. It was such a GREAT day! Dr. Charles Stanley spoke and challenged everyone to invest their life and not just spend it. He stressed the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Sara has been blessed in many ways the past four years. God has worked very clearly. She has a teaching position at the school where she did her student teaching.

PaPa with his GRANDaughters!

We just returned from Greenville, South Carolina. We had gone there to celebrate Sara's graduation from North Greenville University. While there we had an EXTRA sweet time with our grandaughters. Papa sure loves his girls!
