Brooklynn's Sick!

Poor Brooklynn is sick. She came to Mimi and Papa's house today and the only thing she wanted to do was lay on the couch with Cinnamon.... She loves Cinnamon so. Pray she is better soon.

SPRING IS HERE!

Today was another beautiful day in South Carolina. Hope this means that spring is really here. Wanted to show you that people really do sit by the pool in February. The spring flowers are beginning to bloom too.

Feeding Cinnamon!

Blake enjoys the dogs when he comes to "Mimi and Papa's" house. Today he was feeding Cinnamon bread crumbs. Cinnamon is so gentle with him.

The LAUGHING SEED!

Yesterday we had a great day trip to Ashville to visit a vegetarian restaurant, The Laughing Seed. It was a great experience and we all enjoyed the day. Food was GREAT!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Son-In Law!

We were able to celebrate Shane's birthday last night. So thankful to be near family and share special days. HAPPY 31st Shane!

Brooklynn's "Build A Bear" Party!

Today Brooklynn invited Anna Kate and Lauren to "Build A Bear" for her birthday. You should have seem how excited the girls were. It was so much fun watching them pick out there animal. Aunt Joy also let them pick out an outfit. WHAT FUN!

Pinocchio!

Today Anna Kate and I went to see "Pinocchio" at the Peace Center here in Greenville. It was good and we both enjoyed it. It's so much fun having grandkids to have fun with. I shouldn't tell you but, after the play Anna Kate and I SKIPPED down the street holding hands and singing, "Skip, skip, skip to my Lou." You should have seen us.....

FOUR on Tuesday!

Today if just happened that all FOUR of our GRANDkids were here. The girls had a blast playing together. Anna Kate loves babies and wanted to "mother" Blake. It was a BUSY morning, but a fun morning.

Tim's Birthday!

Yesterday was Tim's birthday. We had a SMALL get-together to celebrate. It was nice just to be together. Brooklynn ask Uncle Tim, "How many years are you Uncle Tim?"

Brooklynn Turns 3!

Saturday Brooklynn turned 3! We started the day off with taking her to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. What fun we had. Then it was back to "Mimi's House" to play with the dogs. We took her home just in time for her nap before her Birthday Party. She had talked for weeks about her "SHARK" birthday cake. She LOVES sharks! Joy made her cake and Brooklynn was so EXCITED!

Lauren at the Library!

Each Wednesday Lauren and I head to the library for "Story Hour". We both enjoy it so. Wanted to share a few of the pictures I took today. After we put Lauren down for a nap Anna Kate and I made cards. We had a BLAST!

Tuesday with Brooklynn and Blake!

It is so fun to watch the grandkids grow from week to week. Today Brooklynn was "sweeping" the toy room and Blake was watching her. As soon as she put the "sweeper" down, Blake started "sweeping". It was so CUTE! Brooklynn got a fish from the toy box and had a tea party with the fish. She was so intensive as she made tea for the fish.... They each seem to be growing up so quickly. Brooklynn turns 3 this Saturday.

Morning Coffee!

This morning I invited Becky and her best friend Melinda over for coffee. We had been trying to get together forever and finally set a date. Enjoyed the time and the kids even joined in the fun. Jake is Lauren's best buddy and so while we had our coffee they had their "tea party". Anna Kate and Quinn were at pre-school.

WONDERFUL Concert!

Tonight Gary and I attended a wonderful concert with Ivan Parker and two quartets. It was a blessing to both of us. The quartets were "Providence" and "The Melodyaires". Got to chat with Ivan after the concert.
