MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

It was so much fun waiting and watching for everyone to arrive last evening for our family Christmas. It really is a wonderful family time.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Every year since we have had grandchildren, we have decorated a birthday cake for JESUS. I so want to keep CHRIST in Christmas. Each year it gets to be more FUN. This is after the girls had decorated the cake and were singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus! I love the sparkle in their eyes.

Papa And the Train!

Anna Kate and Lauren spent the night at Mimi and Papa's house last night. They were so excited when Mimi got the train set out for papa to set up for them. They played for hours and I am not sure who had more fun, the girls or Papa.

Apartment Christmas!

We have been very thankful for all God has done to get us to South Carolina for the winter. We really do feel at home in our apartment. Wanted to share a few pictures of our Christmas decorations. Merry Christmas!

Blake and Mimi's Horse!

Mimi has a "horse" at her house. Today Blake looked so BIG when he stood up by the horse. He thought it was really neat.

Staying at Brooklynn's and Blake's House!

I was able to stay with Brooklynn and Blake while their mommy and daddy went away for the week-end. We really had a lot of fun even though both of the kids had colds. The thing that Brooklynn really enjoyed was the dogs.... She and Cinnamon especially have a lot of fun together. Cinnamon puts up with all Brooklynn's adventures. Brooklynn even had her in her toy closet today. She likes to read to the dogs and chase them around the house. Blake loves the dogs too.

Wednesday is Lauren and Anna Kate Day!

Today was such a beautiful 75 degree day that Anna Kate, Lauren and I decided to "go on an adventure". We walked around our apartment complex, which has several pine tree and collected pine cones. We had a LOT of fun. Wish I would have remembered to take my camera. When we got back from our adventure we decided to decorate our pine cones with glitter. I think we had more glitter on our hands and clothes than on the pine cones. But we sure had lots of FUN!

Holiday Fun!

Thought this was such a cute picture of Rich, Joy and their family. Brooklynn will be three in February and Blake will be one in March.

ARTIFICIAL Snow!

Tonight downtown Greenville had ARTIFICIAL snow! Brooklynn thought it was GREAT. It was some sort of bubbles. Almost like dish bubbles or bubble bath bubbles. It was fun to see. NOT MISSING the COLD and SNOW back home in Illinois.

Winter in the South!

Tonight Rich and Joy invited us to meet them downtown for a carriage ride and dinner. It was an unbelievable "winter" evening. It was still in the 60's when we got downtown at 6 tonight. NICE! It had been 70 earlier today. Downtown was so pretty with the lights and the carriage ride was special. Brooklynn waved at everyone along the way.

The TEDDY BEAR Luncheon at the Hyatt!

Saturday I took Anna Kate and Lauren to an annual "Teddy Bear Luncheon" at the Hyatt. They also had a festival of trees that the girls enjoyed looking at. Everyone was ask to bring a teddy bear to donate to Santa. It was a beautiful day and a fun time.

Brooklynn Goes to CHUCKIE CHEESE!

Last night we promised Brooklynn a special trip to Chuckie Cheese. She was so EXCITED and talked all the way there. She loves playing the games. (Just like her Daddy and Papa!) She had a BLAST and so did we.
