GARY and his DOGS!

We live very near a wonderful park, Tipton Trails. "The girls" love going on walks there. They get so EXCITED when we get our tennis shoes on and get the dog leashes out. We are thankful to have such a nice park near out home. I took some wild flower pictures there yesterday also.

FUN with FRIENDS!

We enjoyed time with our special friends Clint and Cheryl this week. Had a day in Springfield at the WONDERFUL "Lincoln Museum and Library". It truly is an awesome place.

FUN times THREE!

Got to see my friend Ellen's triplets today. They are almost 2 and growing up so fast. Life with 3 two year olds is very "different". My friend Ellen does such a wonderful job as their mommy. They are so sweet and precious.

JUST ME AND MY GRANDSON!

Gary got to spend a sweet time with his "one and only" grandson Blake this week-end while we were in Greenville. Blake is already 6 months old and quite a "little man". We all think he is the happiest baby ever. He is a real sweetie. Gary is so proud of him.

FUN IN BRANSON!

Gary and I had an opportunity to spend a few days in Branson last week. It was a very relaxing and special time. We had not been to Branson for over 20 years and it had changed. The area called "The Landing" is a very nice addition. We enjoyed lunch overlooking the river and guacamole made at our table. They have a "Water and Fire" show that is really neat. Got to enjoy several shows including "Lost in the 50's" and "SIX". And there was LOTS of shopping.....

NOT Eatin Good at Disney!

Our son-in-law gives us a hard time about being vegetarian and so I just had to post this picture of him eating a "turkey leg". That was on the top of his "to do list" at Disney. He could hardly wait to get his turkey leg....Isn't that just gross?

Eatin GOOD at Disney!

Gary and I were both VERY impressed with the quality of food at Disney World. We had no trouble eating vegetarian while on vacation. We had read that Disney really tries to meet any diet request. This is a picture of two of our quick counter meals at the parks.

FANTASMIC Light and Laser Show

What a FUN evening we had at the nightly "Fantasmic" show. It really was awesome! Here are just a few pictures. Hope you enjoy.

ANIMAL KINGDOM

All the parks at Disney are special in their own way. We all enjoyed our day at Animal Kingdom. The animals were beautiful and we really felt like we were in Africa. The "Lion King" production was AWESOME!

Anna Kate's Dream Comes True!

All week long Anna Kate and her mommy had been searching for Jasmine. (Jasmine is Anna Kate's FAVORITE princess.) We were told often that she had been sick and they were not sure that she would be at the park. FINALLY on the very last morning of our vacation Becky did one more search with Anna Kate for Jasmine. They were told that she would be in Morocco at 12:30 at a certain spot. WE WAITED! Near 12:30 one of the Disney employees came speeding up to make sure we had found the correct spot and to let us know that Jasmine would be there in 5 minutes. Finding out that Anna Kate had left her autograph book in the car he soon returned with two autograph books and a Micky pen for both girls. To say the least, this was a highlight of the trip. Anna Kate had even gotten the Jasmine costume.

DAD AT DISNEY!

Gary was NOT real excited about our trip to Disney. We almost bought him a Disney "Grumpy" shirt. But it was amazing, when he got there he was the one who enjoyed it the most. He stayed all day at the parks even when we went back for naps in the afternoon. He rode every "scary" ride and some twice. We could not keep up with him. So to say the least HE DID ENJOY DISNEY WORLD! Just afew shots of Gary at Disney....

"Honey I Shrunk the Kids" at MGM

One day was spent at Disney's MGM park. It was another "magical" place. One of the girls FAVORITE place here was the "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" playground. They really enjoyed themsleves and did not want to leave. I even spotted the Monster Inc. guys and stood in line to get our pictures taken.
