Our Gift!

This Christmas the kids surprised us with a family picture. It was such a neat idea and special gift. Wanted them to see that we got it up and in just the right place. THANKS GUYS! (Soon it will be out-of-date, our grandsons coming!)

Everyone got a "Chicago Cubs" shirt this year. (Found a great sale!) Rich hates the Cubs and roots against them. He is a die-hard "Cincinnati Reds" fan. Sorry Rich! Thanks for putting it on for the picture.

Puzzle TIME!

Micah was diligent again this year to finish our annual 3-D puzzle. Anna Kate even got in on helping "Uncle Ponytail".

Uncle Tim bought Anna Kate art supplies for Christmas. They had an "art lesson" together and really had fun.

Christmas Doll!

Brooklynn ENJOYED Christmas so much this year. She was so sweet and even sang Christmas songs. She is growing up so QUICKLY. Talks non-stop.

CHRISTMAS FUN!

We shared a WONDERFUL Christmas vacation with ALL our family in Gatlinburg. Some of the most precious times were shared with our granddaughters. You'll be seeing so many pictures the days ahead. Just wanted to share a couple this morning. LOOK for more to come!

DOGS!

I think trying to get two dogs to sit still for a "Christmas Picture" is almost as hard as getting two little girls to sit still. This is the best we could get. They are ready for Christmas, but don't know that they are not going on our trip. They are not going to be happy.......

Chicago at Christmas!

Today even though it was one of the COLDEST days in Illinois, Gary and I headed to the city. He had meetings all day and I shopped all day. We were both HAPPY. We met for dinner at the "Grand Lux" and sat in the rotunda room. It overlooks Michigan Ave. and is beautiful, especially at Christmas time. Did we mention it was only 8 degrees today? (not to mention the wind chill)

Lizzy makin "snow cones"!

Now that Lizzie has to wear her "cone" all the time Gary says she makes "snow cones" when she goes out in the snow. Only Gary could come up with that joke. Wanted you all to see her making "snow cones" today. She doesn't seem to mind the cone.

Christmas is Coming!

Sara is always concerned that we don't decorate for the holidays anymore. Since we travel and no one comes to visit us, we don't drag out all the "stuff". Wanted to share that we really aren't "humbugs".

Beautiful Madison!

Gary and I were able to tour historical Madison Sunday. They had a special tour of homes called "Nights Before Christmas". It was a wonderful experience and the homes were absolutly BEAUTIFUL!

This morning we woke up to a "Winter Wonderland". It is BEAUTIFUL!
